✨ General Questions
What is Body Wisdom?
Body Wisdom is a specific number of classes designed to help you reconnect with your body through somatic movement, breathwork, creative expression, and intentional rest. It’s like yoga, but not-yoga — it’s more fluid, more spacious, and deeply personal.
What does a typical session look like?
Each session blends mindfulness, breath care (pranayama), guided imagery, somatic movement, and creative practices like journaling or art. We’ll also use self-massage tools like Yoga Tune Up balls. You’re always encouraged to modify or skip anything that doesn’t serve your body.
How much does it cost?
The full 4-session series is $100.
Do I need to attend all 4 sessions?
While it’s ideal to attend all 4 for a fuller experience, you’re welcome even if you can’t make every single session. There is a code for a discount or you can apply the missed class to a future container.
Who Is This For?
Do I need prior experience with yoga or movement classes?
Not at all. This class is open to all levels — especially those who don’t resonate with traditional fitness or wellness spaces.
Is this suitable for people with chronic illness or mobility limitations?
Yes. This space centers your body’s wisdom. All practices are adaptable, and you’re encouraged to participate in ways that feel safe and nourishing to you.
I’m not “artistic” — is the creative part required?
No pressure! Creative expression is offered as an invitation, not an obligation. This is about connecting with yourself, not creating a masterpiece.
Philosophy & Purpose
Why is it called Body Wisdom?
Because our bodies hold knowledge that our minds sometimes miss. This class is about cultivating a deeper relationship with your body as a compass, teacher, and ally.
What do you mean by “moving together as a revolutionary act”?
In a world that often separates and isolates us, moving together — in softness, presence, and care — is an act of rebellion. It’s a return to community, to shared healing, to collective rest.
Will there be talking or is it silent?
Both. There will be moments of guided conversation or reflection, and also times for quiet inner work. You’ll be gently guided but never pushed to share.
Logistics & Prep
