We move slow. Body Wisdom Honors the Slow.
That’s hard to do in this culture of hustle and glorification of busy.
I posted a meme over 10 years ago that said “STOP THE GLORIFICATION OF BUSY.” At the same time I was hustling to create my massage therapy business. I wanted that notion to be true and felt if I just yelled it loud enough it would come true. I actually had to go through some underworld journeys in order to find my way through and up. Some could say I was humbled to my knees to realize the only way to move is SLOW.
If you’re realizing a lot of things in this world aren’t working but you’re not sure where to start, this course is for you.
If you’re realizing a lot of things feel wildly different than not too long ago and it’s a bit disorienting, this course is for you.
If you’re realizing a lot of things are making you unwell and you’re not sure where begin, this course will give you a starting point to listen to what your body holds.
If you feel tangled up and when you pull one string, the tangle only increases, this course will slowly but sustainably begin to untangle the web your holding.
My story is long and tangled.
My auto-immune condition has left me reeling in my identity of who I am as a health-focused partitioner while feeling sick. My parents dying and becoming a single parent put me on my knees in ways that I’m still parsing through. One thing has unveiled itself as a truth to hold, my body–even when it’s seemingly revolting –is still my greatest source of wisdom and guidance. It’s not in the above or some external answers. It’s actually right here, inside me. If I can quiet and move slow enough, I can allow it to guide me forward.
Moving slow is the revolution.
Moving slows allows you to catch the juice of this life.
Moving slow speaks.
Moving slow increases our connection to what moves us.
Moving slow increases our connection to what brings us joy.
Moving slow increases our connection to what really matters.
All of our stories are tangled.
Body Wisdom will move through the awkward slowness in a way that will be less awkward and more nourishing, grounding, and resourcing. A whole world of connection lies on the other side of your action to show up for this course.
