How often should you receive a massage?

Yesterday, a client asked me how often I receive massage. I replied with, “I do my best to squeeze in a massage every week.” She was shocked I practice what I preach. Um yea! I want to experience awesome massage, too!

I always say the best way to see the benefits of a therapeutic massage is to receive therapeutic massage on a regular basis, in whatever your lifestyle can support. That could be once a week or once a month, whatever fits into your life both financially and timely. I’m very physical in my life and once a week suits me well. You’re life may accommodate something different. Some massage is better than no massage.  Either way, get massage and get massage often!

Your muscles need to be reminded regularly that relaxation is the preferred state.  Not to mention the healing power of relaxing your mind and letting go of the stress that normally consumed your thoughts.
